Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes


Suji/Rava: one bowl
Chana and urad dal: One TSP Soaked in water for five minutes
Onion: One small size
Tomato: One medium size
Ginger: 1 ½ Inch, crushed
Mustard seeds: Half TSP
Cumin Seeds: 1/3 TSP
Turmeric Powder: ½ TSP
Red Chili Powder: 1/3 TSP
Green Chili: one fine chopped
Red Chili Dry: one
Hing: a Pinch
Peanuts: 1/3 Bowl
Oil: 2 TSP
Desi Ghee One TSP
Curry Leaves: 8-10
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Roast Suji in Pan for 4-5 minutes without oil on medium flame. Boil water doubles the amount of Suji, add Suji, and leave for 5 minutes.
Heat the pan, add oil and fry peanuts, keep aside.
Add jeera to the oil, add soaked urad and chana dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chili, one dry red chili, ginger, and Hing. Add one chopped onion, fry for a minute, add tomato and heat. At this stage add salt, Haldi powder, and red chili powder. Add a small amount of water and mix.
Now add Suji and one cup of water. Mix well, add one TSP desi ghee, add fried peanuts. Cover for 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
