Butter Paneer Masala is one of the most famous dishes in Indian Restaurants. It's Smooth Tangy and Sweet gravy is enjoyed by people of all ages. Other Dishes of Paneer like Palak Paneer, Matar Paneer, Kadai Paneer, Paneer tikka masala are spicy but Butter Paneer is on the lower side of spices thus also popular among NRI population. One can have it with Naan, Butter Naan, Roti, or simply with Rice.

Full Recipe:

Serves: 2-3
Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 Minutes


Paneer: 150 Gms
Onion: One medium size
Tomato: Three medium size
Garlic: 7-8 cloves
Ginger: 2 inches
Red chili powder: half TSP
Coriander powder: one third TSP
Garam Masala: One third TSP
Kasuri Methi: A pinch
Salt: Half TSP
Honey: 1-2 TSP
Cinnamon powder: One pinch
Fresh cream: 1-2 TSP
Oil: 2TSP
Butter: Two TSP
Water: 250 Ml

Boil tomato in 250 Ml water for 5 minutes. Let them cool for 5-10 Minutes. Grind the tomato to smooth paste and strain it.
Heat a Pan, Take one table spoon oil and fry onion, garlic and ginger for 2-3 minutes. Add Kasuri methi at the end and turn off the flame. Let this cool off for 5 minutes. Grind the onion into a thick paste, avoid using extra water. For more such recipes subscribe Asha and anita youtube channel.
Heat the Pan. Add one TSP oil and two TSP butter. Add onion paste to the pan. Add chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt to it. Add tomato paste and cinnamon powder to it. Cook for 5 minutes, prepare a thick gravy. Add honey. Add paneer. Add a drop of orange color. Add one TSP of fresh cream and mix well and you are done.

Serve hot, with bit garnishing of fresh cream. Enjoy!!
