Aalu Ka Paratha is the most common and loved north Indian and Punjabi breakfast. Other Parathas like paneer paratha, methi paratha, and gobi paratha are also popular but no one can beat love for potatoes for Indians. While Aloo Paratha is made in every household regularly getting the same Punjabi Dhaba flavor is always a secret. Full Aalu Ka Paratha recipe in Hindi:

Serves: 5-6 Parathas
Preparation Time: 20-25 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 Minutes

Ingredients
Wheat flour: 2 Bowl
Potato Boiled: 2 Medium size
Onion: ½ small size chopped
Ginger: 1 inch
Green chilli: 1 chopped
Red chilli powder: 1/3 tsp
Cumin Powder: 1/3 tsp
Dry Mango Powder: 1/3 tsp
Salt: ½ tsp
Oil: 2 tsp
Ghee: 2 tsp
Coriander Leaves: 1 tsp chopped
Malai: 1 tsp
Water: 150 ml

In a mixing bowl take two bowl of wheat flour, ½ tsp salt, I tsp of malai, add water and knead a soft dough. Keep it aside and let it rest for 10 minutes.

In another bowl add boiled potatoes add 1/3 tsp salt, add green chilli (chopped), Grated ginger, ½ onion chopped, 1/3 tsp red chilli powder, 1/3 tsp cumin seed powder, 1/3 dry mango powder.

Heat a pan. Add 2 tsp oil, add potato into it, fry it for 2 minutes and add coriander leaves.

Take a big portion of dough and roll it into a flat round shape, fill the potato mixture and roll it to make flat round paratha.

Heat up the tawa. Put paratha on it, cook on both sides. Apply ghee or butter. Cook again till it gets red.
